There were times you came home late at night.

 

There were times you missed my play at school.

 

There were times you don’t even want to listen to my explanations.

 

There were times I don’t understand you.

 

There were times I hate you so much.

 

 

I tried so hard to make you proud.

 

I tried so hard to be the son you want me to be.

 

I tried so hard to be perfect.

 

I tried so hard to make you understand.

 

I tried so hard to make you love me.

 

 

Now I am just like you.

 

I am a grown man.

 

I am a husband.

 

I am a father.

 

I grew up to be just like you.

 

 

One day, I picked up the phone and called my father.

 

It was his birthday.

 

I told him that I always hated him that I forgot how to love him.

 

I thank him for being a wonderful father for all these living years.

 

Without him I couldn’t have made it.

 

I told my father that I love him and I am going to make up all the lost times.

 

He told me that he have been waiting for me to say those words for years.

 

He died peacefully in his sleep the next day.

The samurai sword that I carried was getting heavier and heavier after the fight at club Monaco. 

Rain was falling down and it helps me to clean up the blood on my body.

Some bloodstains still stuck on my white shirt. 

Behind the alley, I was hiding, I didn’t know how many had died in the fight but I knew that I survived. 

I felt the pain on my arm from the cut.

I looked at the cut and it was a deep cut.

I need to go somewhere to clean up myself. 

Monaca’s Club was a club that Godfather usually hangs out. 

As usually, part of the club belongs to Godfather.

It served Japanese foods but I don’t know why it called Club Monaco. 

Once Kidd told me it called Club Monaco because Godfather went to Monaca and felt in love with the place there but it still doesn’t make sense. 

The rival group dragon Inc. was planning to assassinated Godfather, it was a well-planned set-up. 

Godfather was lucky, when we reached the club; I felt the urge to release myself, I went to the washroom, which was at the back of the club. 

While I was passing through, I accidentally knocked on the guy shoulder, I saw a tattoo mark on his arm and from that moment on I felt something fishy. 

I rushed to Godfather and whispered it in his ear and later he asked Kidd and I to check the kitchen.  

True enough, most of the working stuffs looked suspicious. 

We tried to call the person in charge of the club but we couldn’t get him on the line. 

Later we found out he and the whole families were murdered due to his loyalty to Godfather. 

We went to our car to get our equipments.  

We went into the club pretended nothing happened. 

We waited for the culprit to show up. 

Chapter 12

“Brother that God forgot to give”

He is Godfather’s son. 

He is a brilliant man, graduated from Oxford. Major in Business but he don’t look like a graduate. 

We are about the same age. 

I knew him through Godfather.

He was the one who took me to the doctor after I got slashed by the samurai sword. 

We become instant friends. 

After I was working in Godfather’s office, we even become closer. 

We usually hanged out after work to discotheque & karaoke.

Get to know all types of girls. 

Every morning woke up with different girls on your bed. 

Go to work late. 

The best thing was whenever I go to work late, God father will asked Kidd where did he took me the night before. 

Then we started talking about which girls we took home and Godfather will jokingly asked why we didn’t invite him along. 

Kidd will always answer, “How am I going to explain to mum if she ask me?” 

We laughed.

It is that year again. Looking back what have I achieved so far (in 2007). As I can tell myself that I am very happy with year 2007. My beautiful wife moves in with me.

I am also happy that knowing that I can afford a brand new car but I decided to wait for a little bit longer.

I am happy that knowing that my new house going to complete soon and we can move out from our rented apartment.

I am happy because I don’t have to worry about my financial every end of the month.

I have traveled to India twice on work basis and it was an eye opener for me. Being thankful for what I have here in my country.

I have totally stop smoking & avoid alcohol consumption whenever it is necessary.

I got a salary increment of 6.7%.

I have achieved unit trust sales for more than RM100K. Which I know I can do better in year 2008, my target is RM500K.

In year 2008, I plan to start a business.

I plan to get an additional house of shop house once our new house is ready.

I plan to get a new car but my old one is still as faithful as ever.

I plan to get a new flat screen TV for my new house.

I plan to get a home theater system.

I plan to get a PS3.

I plan to get a new sofa.

I plan to build a new kitchen.

I plan to have my own study/working room.

I plan to do more investment.

Lastly, I must not to forget the less fortunate. I will do more charity works. I will help others and spread the word of Love.

REUTERS - Bamboozled by the Bali negotiations, but want to do your bit to avert a climate crisis? 

Here are 10 simple steps towards cutting your carbon emissions at home and work. 

* Change the lightbulbs. Replace one incandescent bulb with a compact fluorescent lightbulb and make a 60-80 percent electricity saving. This one small change will save 68 kilograms of carbon dioxide (CO2) a year. 

* Turn your computer off overnight. “Standby culture”, or leaving appliances such as televisions, DVDs and hi-fi equipment switched on while they’re not in use contributes one million tonnes of greenhouse gases to the atmosphere every year in Britain alone. 

* Calculate your carbon emissions. Take 10 minutes next time you’re online to Google “carbon calculator” and add up your carbon footprint. Tallying your total will give you an idea of where to cut down — household, heating or holidays? 

* Eat local. Agriculture is responsible for about a fifth of the world’s greenhouse gas emissions. Choosing local, seasonally grown food avoids carbon dioxide emissions from transporting produce around the world. 

* Reduce your red meat intake. Studies suggest producing one kg of beef releases greenhouse gases equivalent to 36.4 kg of carbon dioxide, thanks mostly to belching cattle’s methane emissions. 

* Turn down the heating. About half of all the energy used at home is for heating and cooling. Turning the thermostat down two degrees can save about 800 kg of CO2 a year. 

* Turn up, and clean out the aircon. Edge your aircon up two degrees, and clean or replace dirty filters as recommended. Cleaning filters saves you money, and can save 160 kg of carbon dioxide annually. 

* Drive less, fly less. Every mile you drive adds 450 grams of CO2. Emissions from aircraft, already soaring, are predicted to account for five percent of global emissions by 2050. Carpool, walk, bike and take public transport when you can. 

* Plant a tree. One mature tree absorbs hundreds of kilograms of CO2 a year, and then stores it indefinitely in its wood fibre. Try for a native species that will promote biodiversity. 

* Reduce, re-use, recycle. Making glass bottles or aluminium cans from recycled materials uses less energy and produces less pollution than making them from scratch each time.
